Igniting Excellence: MELSSA Week 2025

The Medical Laboratory Science Students' Association (MELSSA) at Klintaps University College recently concluded its annual week-long celebration, combining academic enrichment with social engagement.

The centerpiece was the "Beyond the Bench" Summit on August 18, 2025, featuring guest speakers Dr. Victor N. Batsa and Mr. Aubin Prince, who presented on diverse career paths for medical laboratory science graduates in public health, academia, and entrepreneurship.

Activities throughout the week included the "Battle of the Gonads" academic quiz on August 19, "Rep MELSSA Campus" focused on student leadership on August 20, a movie night on August 21, and the "Dye-Namic Splash" social event on August 22 at Hotel Buelah.

On September 1, the association held a Handing Over Ceremony where outgoing leaders transferred responsibilities to incoming executives, pledging commitment to "Passionate Service. Our Hallmark."

Additionally, Klintaps College hosted a Staff-Student Consultative Meeting on September 3, 2025, fostering collaborative dialogue on academic policies, campus facilities, and student services.
