10th Matriculation Ceremony Welcomes the 2025/2026 Cohort

On Saturday, 21 February 2026, Klintaps University College of Health and Allied Sciences welcomed its newest cohort of students at the 10th Matriculation Ceremony — a decennial milestone in the institution's eleven-year academic life.

The ceremony was attended by Professor Philip Narteh Gorleku, Founder and President of Klintaps, and Professor Daniel Apaak, Dean of Students at the University of Cape Coast — Klintaps' affiliating university — alongside members of the Klintaps Governing Council, faculty, and the families of the matriculating students.

For the students, the matriculation oath marks an official passage. They cease to be applicants and become full members of the University College, bound by the institution's academic standards and its Ubuntu-rooted code of conduct. For Klintaps as an institution, the 10th Matriculation is its own milestone: a decade of cohorts admitted, taught, and ushered into the wider Ghanaian healthcare system.

In addresses following the oath, both Prof. Gorleku and Prof. Apaak emphasised the connection between Klintaps and UCC — the partnership through which Klintaps degrees are awarded. UCC's presence on stage was a visible reminder that the qualifications students are about to earn carry the recognition of one of Ghana's leading public universities.

The 2025/2026 cohort joins a Klintaps community that has grown to over 1,000 students across fifteen undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Looking ahead, the matriculants now begin their first semester of clinical-science training, with their full White Coat Ceremony — newly introduced as an institutional tradition this year — awaiting them in the years to come.
