How publication records are compiled

Publication records are gathered from scholarly databases (OpenAlex, Crossref and PubMed) using the Klintaps institutional identifier (ROR 02ke5e989). The Research Directorate checks each record before it appears on this website.

Plain-language summaries are prepared from each paper's published abstract. The published paper is always the authoritative version, and authors can ask us to correct a summary at any time.

Full texts and copyright

We host a full-text PDF on this website only when the publisher's licence allows it (for example, Creative Commons licences) or when the author provides an accepted manuscript that may be shared. Otherwise we link to the publisher's version of record.

Each hosted file records which version it is, its licence, any embargo, and who confirmed the rights.

Corrections

If a record is incomplete or incorrect, for example a missing author or a wrong date, email the Research Directorate and we will correct it, normally within 10 working days.

Notice and takedown

If you believe material on these pages infringes copyright or another right, email the Research Directorate with the page address and the reason. We will acknowledge your request within 5 working days and remove the material while we investigate if the claim appears valid.

Open access

Klintaps encourages its researchers to publish open access where possible and to deposit accepted manuscripts so that Ghanaian and African readers can read our research free of charge.
