Charting the Path to Success: Achievers Summit 2.0

The J.O. Gorleku Lecture Theatre at Klintaps University College hosted the second edition of the annual Achievers Summit on Friday, September 5, 2025, organized by the Local NUGS Secretariat in partnership with the SRC.
Under the theme "Shaping Future Achievers Through Financial Literacy, Career Guidance, and Confidence," the event equipped students with essential tools for academic and professional success.

The summit was first conceived by Prince Isaac Oppong during his tenure as Local NUGS President. This year, the mantle passed to Rhoda Ama Twumasi, who successfully elevated the summit to new heights.
The event was chaired by Mr. Douglas Frimpong-Nnuroh, the Registrar, who emphasized the critical need for students to acquire practical skills in financial management, seek career guidance, and cultivate confidence.
Hon. Sika John Siameh (NUGS Secretary for Union Development) challenged students to leverage campus associations. Dr. Kwabena Bempah Tandoh (former NUGS Director General) provided invaluable career guidance advice. George Daniel Horatio (Investment Advisor) broke down complex financial concepts into actionable steps.

The event brought together students from Regional Maritime University, Narh-Bita College, Heritage University, Methodist University, and Senior High Schools around Klagon, creating a diverse networking environment.

The Achievers Summit 2.0 was a resounding success, fulfilling its mission to empower and inspire the next generation of leaders through knowledge, mentorship, and community.
