Entry requirements
Five routes into medicine
WASSCE
Aggregate 36 or better in six subjects
- Passes A1–C6 in six subjects (three core + three electives), aggregate 36 or better
- Core: C4 or better in Mathematics, English Language and Integrated Science
- Electives: passes in any three of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Elective Mathematics
SSSCE
Aggregate 24 or better in six subjects
- Passes A–D in six subjects, aggregate 24 or better
- Grade D or better in the three core subjects
- Three science electives
GCE A-Level
Three A-Level science passes
- Five O-Level credits including English and Mathematics
- Three A-Level passes: Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics, and Biology or Agricultural Science
- A pass (grade E or better) in General Paper
IB / IGCSE
Higher-Level sciences
- IB: minimum grade 5 at Higher Level in three relevant science subjects, plus grade 4 in English and Mathematics at Standard Level
- IGCSE/A-Level track: five O-Level credit passes including English and Mathematics, plus three A-Level passes in the sciences
Degree / HND holders
Graduate entry routes
- BSc in a related health or science field from a recognised university — admission to Level 200
- HND (2nd Class Lower or better) with at least two years' post-HND experience — admission to Level 100
- All graduate applicants must show prerequisite passes in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics or Elective Mathematics
All applicants attend a selection interview. International applicants: qualification equivalence is determined by GTEC, and evidence of English proficiency is required from non-English-speaking countries.
Tuition & funding
USD 8,000 per academic year
Payable in Ghana Cedis at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of payment.
- Instalment payment plans are available through the admissions office.
- Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) support is available to qualifying Ghanaian students.
- Fees cover tuition; accommodation and the student laptop programme are arranged separately.

Selection interview
Shortlisted applicants are invited to a selection interview with the admissions panel.
Admission & enrolment
Successful applicants receive an admission letter with enrolment steps, fee schedule and the September start date.
