Inspiring Sports at Klagon TWMA JHS

In a demonstration of social responsibility, Klintaps College of Health and Allied Sciences (KCoHAS) donated sports equipment and renovated facilities to Klagon TWMA Junior High School, including footballs, jerseys, and upgraded volleyball and handball parks.
The donation addressed a significant need at the school, which had previously struggled with limited sporting resources. The new equipment enables more effective training and improved spaces for student athletes.
Professor Philip Nartey Gorleku, the college's founder, stated: "We believe in nurturing holistic development among the youth. Through this donation, we aim to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle while instilling discipline and teamwork."

Deputy Registrar Mr. Daniel Dzakah highlighted that "Sports instil valuable life skills such as discipline, leadership, and resilience. We hope to positively impact the lives of these young athletes."
Student Philomena Berko expressed appreciation: "We are so thankful to Klintaps College for this wonderful gift. With the new equipment, we can practice better and participate in inter-school competitions with more confidence."

The donation strengthens the community bond and positions Klagon TWMA JHS for enhanced athletic opportunities and student growth.
