The HUD Group Learning Skills Symposium

The HUD Group (Human Development Group) conducted an educational symposium at Klintaps College of Health and Allied Sciences on March 24, 2023, focusing on equipping students with essential skills for academic and personal success.

The organization's mission centers on developing emerging and established leaders by helping them discover and deploy their God-given potential across various spheres of life.

Topics covered included Time Management, Note-Taking, Goal Setting, Overcoming Academic Obstacles, Active Learning, Critical Thinking, and Self-Motivation.

Main facilitator Mr. Gideon Nunufioo stated: "We believe that every student has the potential to excel and that with the right learning skills, they can unlock their true capabilities."

The symposium emphasized interactive question-and-answer sessions, with participants sharing personal experiences. Dietetics student Meredith Asrifie noted that facilitators addressed concerns directly, offering fresh perspectives on studying approaches.

Program coordinator Ms. Sandra Afriyie expressed enthusiasm: "We are thrilled to welcome students into our HUD family to build a strong support system." Students were invited to join through the Student Affairs Office for additional classes and mentoring.
