DAY 5- FUN TRIP

The Klintaps College of Health and Allied Sciences Health Week celebration continued with an unforgettable adventure to the Eastern and Volta regions. Students and faculty embarked on the “Aportii Fun Trip,” a journey filled with breathtaking sights and unforgettable experiences.
The trip began with a visit to the majestic Adomi Bridge, a stunning engineering marvel that spans the Volta River. The students marveled at the bridge’s impressive structure and enjoyed the scenic views of the surrounding landscape.
Next, the group ventured into the Volta Region to explore the Tafe Atome Monkey Sanctuary. This unique sanctuary provides a safe habitat for a variety of monkey species. The students had the opportunity to observe these fascinating creatures in their natural environment and even interact with some of them.
The adventure continued with a challenging climb to the summit of Mount Afadja, the highest mountain in Ghana. The students pushed their physical limits as they ascended the mountain, rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
The final stop on the trip was the Wli Agumatsa waterfalls, a stunning natural wonder located in the Volta Region. The students enjoyed swimming in the refreshing waters and taking in the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
The “Aportii Fun Trip” was a memorable experience for all participants, providing a much-needed break from their academic studies and an opportunity to explore the beautiful landscapes of Ghana. The trip also fostered a sense of togetherness and teamwork among the students and faculty.
As the students returned to Tema, Accra, they carried with them lasting memories of their adventure and a renewed appreciation for the natural beauty of their country.
DAY 6- FREE HEALTH SCREENING FOR ALL
The Klintaps College of Health and Allied Sciences concluded its Health Week with a community health screening event that provided free medical services to residents of Klagon, Lashibi, and surrounding areas.
The comprehensive screening program offered a wide range of tests, including:
- Malaria
- Syphilis
- Blood group testing
- Eye exams
- BMI and body fat assessment
- Typhoid
- Hepatitis B
- Hemoglobin (Hb)
- Ultrasound scans
- X-rays
In addition to the medical screenings, counseling sessions were also available to provide patients with information about their health and address any concerns they may have.

DAY 7 – GRAND DURBAR AND ALUMNI HOMECOMING, DINNER NIGHT
